2.Thevictimagreestosellcryptoassetstothisfraudster.
3.Thefraudstercontactsthevictim(theseller)claimingthattheyhavealreadymadepayments(butinfact,theyhavenot)andaskingthevictimforcontactinformation.
4.Afterthepaymentwindowexpires,aself-claimedcustomersupportstaffwouldcontactthevictimuser(viathecontactinformationprovidedbythisvictim)andoffertoassistwithprocessingthisorderbyguidingthevictimtowithdrawassetstoanunknownaddress.Somefraudstersalsosendemailstothevictimsandinducethemtowithdrawassetstotheso-called"custodyaddress."ThefraudulentcustomersupportandsenderemailusuallyfaketheHuobilogoandprovidebasicdetailsoftheOTCorderinquestion,whichcanlookveryconvincing.
